Meet Our Executive Council
Jennifer Mandelblatt
Jennifer Mandelblatt serves as Platform’s director. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial and labor relations at Cornell University’s ILR School. On campus, Jennifer is President of ILR Women’s Caucus, through which she organized the inaugural Toward a More Equal Workplace Summit. She is also president of the Every1 Campaign, which uses social media and peer-led conversations to end sexual assault and rape on campus. Jennifer also writes a women’s rights blog series, “Remember the Ladies,” for The Cornell Daily Sun. Jennifer’s policy experience stems from her internships with the U.S. Department of Labor, Women’s Bureau and U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Labor & Pensions Office.
Jennifer was featured in Business Insider’s 2015 article, “19 Incredibly Impressive Students at Cornell” for her gender equality advocacy and received Cornell Women’s Resource Center’s 2015 International Women’s Day Leadership Award for Student Advocacy.

Rachel Naugle
Rachel Naugle is a junior at The George Washington University and is pursuing a degree in human services and social justice. In high school, Rachel developed an interest in helping the global population achieve their highest standard of living. She is still passionate about it today. Rachel believes that everyone should be treated and represented correctly. Since declaring her major, Rachel works hard to have her voice heard on issues that she cares about. As Platform’s Assistant Director of Operations, she is determined to effectively execute this conference.

Emily Herman
Emily Herman is a junior at Johns Hopkins University studying political science and the writing seminars. Emily, originally from New Jersey, serves as an editor for The Johns Hopkins News-Letter and as the Chief Panhellenic Officer for her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. She has also served as a digital intern at EMILY’s List and as an extern on Facebook’s Government & Politics team. After college, she hopes to pursue a career in digital communications and is especially interested in exploring how online media can be leveraged to combat gender inequality in our society.
Hannah Corn
Hannah Corn is a sophomore at The George Washington University. She double majors in international affairs and political science with a minor in Chinese. Hannah is deeply passionate about international human rights, with a concentration in conflict resolution development. In her free time, Hannah loves dancing, debating, and traveling and immersing herself into unknown cultures. She is so excited to be working on Platform's Executive Board this year as the 2015-2016 Assistant Director of Finance.

Jenna Milliner-Waddell
Jenna Milliner-Waddell is a junior in the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in multiplatform journalism with two minors in art history and Spanish. Jenna is an alumnus of the College Park Scholars Public Leadership program. For her community based learning project she lead a team of five who worked together to win a grant for Courtney's House, a DC based non-profit working to end domestic sex trafficking. Jenna is interested in lifestyle journalism and hopes to have a thriving career at a magazine. As assistant director of press for Platform Jenna hopes to represent and uphold the values of the convention which she holds in high regard.

Kylie Werk
Kylie Werk is a junior double major in criminology and psychology with a minor in philosophy at the University of Florida. She is a graduate advisor for Florida YMCA Youth In Government, a program she says has taught her the value of civics education and debating ideas. She is also a second-term Student Senator at UF, sitting on the Budget & Appropriations and Judiciary committees, and has worked on four student government campaigns on campus. For the past year, she has served as the Vice President of Programming for the Sigma Kappa, Beta Tau chapter and was recently elected President of her chapter. Furthermore, she is a founding member and the Outreach and Education head for the End Endo philanthropy at the University of Florida, an event raising awareness and research funds for endometriosis—a disease from which she suffers. She is always looking to do more to help her community and cannot wait to enrich the lives of collegiate women across the country and get their voices heard through this conference.
